I'm giving a talk on April 8th at OSU to inagurate this year's Campus Creature Census. The Campus Creature Census is a fantastic program spearheaded by by Charles Goodrich and the Spring Creek Project in which students, faculty, and staff are invited to spend time contemplating a non-human creature on the OSU campus. I went to this event last year and was wowed by what I saw and heard, including a talk by the founder of The Xerces Society—Robert Michael Pyle. For my talk, I'll be reading from my latest manuscript about self-portraits I cast out of seeds and leave out in the wilds to be consumed by birds. A few images from some of these projects can be seen here. The event is free and open to the public.
